Volitta’s book White Lies or Dark
Secrets has won first place in the non-fiction, unpublished category
and
overall grand prize in the Public Safety Writers 2008 writing
competition. She also received third
place
for her short story Dying with Honor and an
honorable mention for a short story titled Routine Patrol.
